The only thing I can say I appreciate is that she has a clear academic vision and believes grades should reflect learning. Outside of that, I do not feel there is anything in her approach that supports teachers or fosters a positive environment. Most of what is presented as teacher involvement feels like a performance rather than genuine collaboration, and it has created a climate where many of us are afraid to speak openly. The most important improvement would be true collaboration. Leadership needs to stop giving the illusion of valuing teacher input and actually listen to the staff. The way she treats teachers has created an environment where people feel psychologically unsafe. Respectful communication, transparency, and a willingness to consider other perspectives would completely change the culture. Right now, the school feels controlled, closed-off, and emotionally draining. A clear negative example is how leadership handles academic or disciplinary concerns. Instead of support, the typical response is criticism or a long lecture that does nothing to help you address the issue. It often feels like she looks for opportunities to belittle staff, which makes it extremely difficult to feel confident or secure in your role. This lack of support directly affects the classroom, because teachers are left handling everything alone while also managing the emotional toll of the work environment. I have not experienced a positive impact from her leadership.
