This school has become a deeply disheartening place. The constant turnover, the reliance on under-qualified staff, and the exhausting working conditions have taken a visible toll on everyone. Teachers and TAs look drained, morale feels nonexistent, and the weight of the environment eventually reaches the students as well. The location and commute add another layer of strain that makes daily life even harder for staff and families. It is sad to watch an institution operate in a way that wears people down and leaves both staff and students struggling. Serious changes are needed before this becomes a healthy place for anyone.

What do you appreciate most about the school’s approach to supporting your child’s learning and development?

The only thing I can appreciate is that some individual teachers are doing everything they can despite overwhelming conditions. Their effort is noticeable, but it is also clear they are exhausted, stretched thin, and often placed in roles without the proper support or training. Any progress my child makes feels like it happens because of those teachers, not because of the school’s systems or leadership.

What improvements, if any, would you suggest to make the school experience better for students and parents?

The school needs to focus on attracting and retaining qualified, experienced educators rather than filling roles with whoever happens to be available. Leadership must create a respectful, supportive work environment so staff are not constantly worn down or looking for the exit. Workload expectations must be realistic, communication must improve, and training should be delivered by people who are actually qualified. Until the school invests in its staff, students and parents will continue to feel the impact of an unstable and depleted environment.

Can you share an example of how the school has positively and/or negatively impacted your child’s academic or personal growth?

It is difficult to point to a specific positive example because the instability within the school affects everything. Constant staff turnover, under-qualified replacements, and a generally low morale have made it hard for my child to have consistent learning experiences. While a few teachers have tried their best, the overall environment has not provided the stability or quality needed to support meaningful academic or personal growth.
